News: GTAIV: San Andreas Beta 3 is out now

The delay of Grand Theft Auto V and the extreme quietness of Rockstar as of late has caused fans to once again become jumpy at even just the slight mention of GTAV. A number of assholes have decided to capitalize on this and create fake Grand Theft Auto V beta websites. These websites serve no purpose other than gathering your personal information such as credit card numbers and to infect your machine with malware. Please be aware that Rockstar has never performed any sort of beta (or Alpha) testing outside of the company and most likely never will. If a website is promising you the ability to test the next Grand Theft Auto, or any Rockstar game for that matter, do not fall for it. The only official place to become involved in the development and testing Rockstar's games is Rockstar's own careers website. Rockstar has been going after these fake websites recently but we wanted to remind you all not to fall for these scams. The scam has also been making rounds on Facebook in the form of pages that want you to share it to gain access. Again, do not fall for it and do not share it. Simply ignore them or report the fake apps and pages to Facebook.
